Goldenrod Wedding

Goldenrod is a census-designated place and an unincorporated community in both Orange and Seminole counties in Florida. The population was 12,871 at the 2000 census.

Goldenrod census area contains the separate communities of Goldenrod and Eastbrook (in Seminole County).

Goldenrod is located at 283646N, 811739W (28.612827, -81.294060)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.0 km (2.7 mi). 6.7 km (2.6 mi) of it is land and 0.3 km (0.1 mi) of it (4.78%) is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 12,871 people, 5,398 households, and 3,152 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,918.7/km (4,963.2/mi). There were 5,575 housing units at an average density of 831.1/km (2,149.8/mi). The racial makeup of the CDP was 82.43% White, 5.53% African American, 0.47% Native American, 2.86% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 5.38% from other races, and 3.25% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 17.83% of the population.
